Complaints Procedure

All complaints whether verbal or written will be recorded at the time they are made.

We will deal with any properly appointed representative of a complainant.

All written complaints will be acknowledged by email or letter within three working days and a proper investigation will be undertaken by staff not directly involved in the transaction.

A formal written outcome of our investigation will be sent to the complainant within 15 working days.

If the complainant remains dissatisfied they will be invited to comment further on the outcome of our investigation and any review will be sent to the complainant.

Following the conclusion of our investigation and review, a written statement expressing our final view will be sent to the complainant.

If the complainant is still not satisfied with our final viewpoint (or more than 8 weeks has elapsed since the complaint was first made) the complainant can request an independent review from The Property Ombudsman without charge.

Please note the following:

The complainant need to submit their complaint to The Property Ombudsman within 12 months from the date of our final viewpoint , including any evidence to support their case.

The Property Ombudsman requires that all complaints are addressed through this in-house complaints procedure, before being submitted for an independent review.
